The College of Agriculture Development Council is led by an executive committee that consists of a chairman, past chairman, vice chairman, and treasurer. Day-to-day functions are coordinated by the alumni and donor relations coordinator in the Office of the Vice Chancellor and Dean for Agriculture and Life Sciences.
Allison Smith ’02
Allison worked at the state capitol for 13 years, with eight of those years being spent working with Representative David Swinford. She graduated from Texas A&M with a degree in floriculture and received the College of Agriculture and Life Science Outstanding Early Career Alumni Award in 2015.
Allison and her husband Todd, also a COADC member, live in Lockhart, where she is now a stay-at-home mother to their two daughters, Kennedy and Mattie.
Ed Erwin ’92
Ed began working at Wangler Erwin, Inc. in 1986. He graduated from Texas A&M with a degree in Agricultural Systems Management. He and his wife Melissa live in El Campo with their son and twin daughters.
Jay Gray ’74
Jay is the General Manager of Graham Land & Cattle Company. He graduated from Texas A&M with a degree in Agricultural Economics. He and his wife Donna live in Gonzales.
Angel Futrell ’11
Angel coordinates the College of Agriculture Development Council and other alumni relations opportunities. She also manages the College’s donor stewardship program as well as the Texas A&M AgriLife awards program. She received a degree in Agricultural Communications and Journalism from Texas A&M and has a background in marketing and communications.
