Meredith Neely ’02
Meredith is excited to announce her recent decision to join Icon Global, International Icon Properties Group, based in Dallas. Bernard Uechtritz, founder, specializes in the sale of large farm and ranch properties and is well known for his recent sale of the Waggoner Ranch.
In 2006, Meredith, Class of ’02, was featured in the Texas A&M Spirit Magazine’s article “Emerging Philanthropists”. She has continued her philanthropy today by being an active member in the COADC, community, and church. After graduating with a degree in Agribusiness, Meredith soon followed in her father’s footsteps and became a farm and ranch real estate agent. Shortly thereafter, she added to her qualifications and became an appraiser. Meredith holds both a broker’s license and is licensed as a General Certified Appraiser. Since 2008, she has owned her own real estate and appraisal business. Her background includes a family cow/calf operation, playing tennis, and showing American Quarter Horses.
Meredith had many memorable experiences while at A&M, but one of her favorite memories of college was an animal science tri-state field trip with Dr. Hesby:
“I wasn’t sure if I would survive it (his driving skills were legendary), I was always on time (many had been left behind), and I brought home an excellent bundt cake recipe. The trip lived up to all I had previously heard of Dr. Hesby and his field trips, which were more than just an educational experience.”
